The ATI Radeon HD 5400 is a graphics processing unit that features panoramic ATI Eyefinity Technology and supports Blu-ray movies or other HD content at 1080p and beyond with dual stream 1080p (PiP). The unit also supports Dolby® TrueHD surround sound and HDMI 1.3A with deep color and x.v. color capabilities for optimized sound and color, ATI Stream technology which is suitable for tasks like video transcoding, GDDR5 memory bandwidth, energy-saving features designed to save battery and maximize on-the-go time and independent graphics switching capabilities to help optimize notebook for either long battery life or performance. Designed with 292 million 40nm transistors with up to TeraScale 2 Unified Processing Architecture, the HD5400 supports 80 Stream Processing Units, 8 Texture Units, 16 Z/Stencil ROP Units and 4 Color ROP Units.
