Summary: This was my first card and i was very dissapointed. It's core clock is about 411 and memory around 360,"overclocked didnt improve much , 420 core and 369 memory, but it overheats very fast and cannot handle just about any game i have played "meaning" i have high frame rates and games are just about...
Summary: like the below stated, those speeds definatly are not 9800xt speeds or they are all not created equal as he stated. Overall the card is a big step up from the 9600se i had, but it would have been nice if it was a real 9800xt. core speed is only 393 and memory is 245 (490ddr).

Summary: I was looking to purchase a replacement for the ATI Radeon 9700 that my Apple G4 came equipped with. I had tried going with a safe and cheaper route with the 9200, that I still believed would function properly, but this was an obviously inferior card that was highly noticeable on crashes and freezes...

Summary: I use a Quicksilver (2002) Dual 1Ghz G4 Mac. this specific edition of the 9800 (which DOES have 256mb of vram) is the highest level video card you will be able to get for a Quicksilver mac. I used to be using a GeForce 4mx along with an old original Radeon PCI card.
