Summary: If you are looking for a TV tuner card and graphic card, you will not be disappointed with the ATI 9000 pro 64mb Card. I investigated several TV tuner cards before choosing the ATI 9000. It is the only card I found that can be used with Game consoles because all of the other cards or devices available have a buffered delay including: ATI 650 USB, Hauppauge (the only major competitor). All of the other TV Tuner cards do not seem to be as stable as the ATI 9000.
Summary: I purchased the Radeon 9000 (non-Pro) and installed it in my 400Mhz Dell with Windows 2000 Professional. The card and software installed without a hitch. The manual talks about hooking up the card to a power supply. This is not applicable to the 9000 card (the manual was referring to the 9700 card). You just put the card in the slot and install the software. My machine is an older PC with the version 1 AGP slot and everything worked fine.
Summary: Just added this card to my 3 year old Gateway Performance 800 (Pentium 3) which only had 8MB of onboard shared RAM. First I had to change the bios settings to support AGP graphics, which was simple. Installation of the card itself took only a few minutes. Rebooted and loaded the bundled software from the CD-ROM and that was it. I don't have a smokin gaming system, I bought an Xbox for that so I wouldn't always be playing the upgrade game with my PC.
