Pros: I have ordered 12 of these video cards over the last year and a half for our office. They are terrific when working properly. Our main use is to operate 4 monitors for our busy company. These cards are easy to install and use. The AMD software make set up easy as well. I have turned off automatic updates to the software because the updates have caused cards to fail and we have to reinstall the driver software.
Cons: Several of our cards cause all 4 monitors to black out occasionally. Despite rebooting/reinstalling the drivers. I have return 2 cards for replacement. Newegg was terrific with quick replacement, but I'm concerned about long terms effects. If they are causing problems now, what happens 6 months from now.
Summary: Cards like this one are starting to become few and far between - at least when it comes to getting a quad-output card that can handle both VGA and DVI adapters. At my job, we just upgraded our conference room, and we have a 4 monitor setup (2 TVs and 2 projectors), but unfortunately, the projectors are a little old, and so they really only do good with VGA inputs.
Summary: Have been amazed at the simplicity of the operation of this card - although I did have to download drivers for Win2K8 R2. Needed a card for the Desktop Experience so that this machine would make a superb Workstation - this card did the exact trick. Am running twin 28'' 1920x1200 (DVI) screens which I perform remote technical support for clients all over the world.
