Summary: General work day requires more than two screens. This products allowed me to set up 3 independent linked screens on same desktop. Easy to use and the software gives me good control of displays.
Summary: I selected this card for its AutoCad capabilities to replace a Nvidia Quadro NVS420 which was OK - sort of - but had serious problems driving 2 monitors. The installation was a breeze, and the ATI cards delivers the good performance I had hoped for at a very reasonable price - I might even add a third monitor for improved efficiency when dealing with multiple spread sheets.
Summary: Quality graphics from this card, it lived up to ATI's reputation for me. I've never seen a higher quality output. This was a replacement card which out-shined the original and I'll never be looking back.
Summary: At first I was leery because I didn't believe the hype that this card was so powerful. I happily discovered that all that hype was for real. It is a great graphics/workstation card and worthy of a great review.
Summary: I bought this video card for my Maya and AutoCAD work. And for a entry level workstation card it worked great. I'm was surprise that it also work extremely well playing my video games. I mean Battlefield 3, Rage, Dirt 3 etc it performed really well with most of the video settings turn way up.
Summary: I have used AutoCad since the 1980s and this card finally brings good performance to the ordinary user at a reasonable price. The V4800 is certified by software vendors such as Autodesk and Adobe which helps when you are in tech support or when you need dependable drivers. Additionally, the multi-monitor capability allowed us to pair up older smaller flat screen monitors with larger units we were using for CAD with little effort and no expense..
Summary: We bought this because it was rated, tested, and reviewed highly by professionals for entry level for animation and 3D software. We use Maya software and this is a certified hardware by Autodesk for that application. Great price and value as the next level video card is around $600.00 and up.
Summary: This workstation card means business! I was blown away by the improved performance when dealing with any sort of 3D graphics, from CAD to Google Earth. No lag, no processing time to render 3D views on the fly with textures and shadows, this thing just flies right through it all. I upgraded from a Radeon HD3600 512mb, and there is no comparison how much more this card can handle and how much faster it is.
Summary: I was expecting a high WIN7 Experience and got a 6.9 out of 7.9 rating. Not bad, but was hoping to go over 7.0. Not sure if going over would make much difference in what I would see, and can't complain. Video is smooth, with tracking across the screen, no hesitations, colors are vibrant. Dell 1907fp Ultrasharp set to 75 hertz 1280x1024. Installation was simple, click in and plug in and all is well.
