Summary: I got this card to replace the broken video card in my brother's PC. It had a failed fan and cooked. Ouch. With this ASUS AMD Radeon Silent series the risk of fan failure on the video card is eliminated and the system is even more quiet. For his use this card has more than enough power. He uses his computer for email, web surfing, and working with documents in word or running applications like turbo tax.
Summary: After i baught this card i was excited to get a working machine for my neice. Everything in the system was tested working. However, after using this card for a few hours it light brightly with a spark and burnt itself out. I was dissapointed but i still had faith that ASUS would RMA it. However i was sorely mistaken. ASUS refused to accept the card since they claim it could not be the problem in the system.
Summary: I got this for my Acer slimline computer because my original graphics card fried. I think that slimline desktop computers are notorious for overheating and frying parts. Anyway, this performs good enough for me to play Skyrim and it is still working great after more than a year. Not to mention it looks kind of cool. I would recommend this for anyone wanting a step above integrated graphics.
Summary: I have been a customer of Walmart.com for quite sometime now and they are very efficient and on time in their deliveries to the Walmart Store that I indicated but on this item it went to a different Store about 20 miles away from my house. The Walmart Store that I usually picked my items up is just a few yards away from my house.
Summary: Ok so I got this and on the first day of use it tried to kill its self on heat and my TF2 game at low spec was terrible and at its lowest rate on idle with nothing running was sitting around 83 degrees and in game it pushed over 100 on low spec, I would strongly not recommend this product to any one unless I wanted to give them hell the graphics card is god awful and overheats constantly even on idle which led me to worry it is terrible I have installed all requirements...
Summary: I must have gotten a bad card. I swaped it with my current card (which still works, but has a noisy fan). The system never showed anything on the display. I think the system booted as the disk activity light flashed quite a bit, but I could never tell where it was at in the process. Never got any beeps of any kind. Put the old card back in and the system was fine. SO, back it goes. At least Amazon makes returns easy.
Summary: I was building a family desktop and trying to spend as little money as possible. The most visually demanding thing the card would need to do is 720p YouTube videos and The Sims 3, all that and pretty much everything else I've thrown at it wonderfully. (It even played Just Cause 2 impressively well!) It's quiet, obviously, and as far as I know it runs cool. Awesome performance for an exceptionally low cost. Highly recommended.
