Summary: The Asus HD 7970 (DC2T-3GD5) will set you back a whopping Rs.36,000. There’s no doubt that the AMD’s HD 7970 is the fastest single core GPU in the market today and Asus improves upon that with nifty feature for the hardcore enthusiast. My main issue with this card, just like the HD 7950 that we reviewed earlier is its sheer size, which many may have difficulty with fitting into their chassis.
Excerpt: The DirectCU II TOP range of graphics cards from ASUS is undoubtedly in the upper echelon of elite cards on the market. While MSI’s Lightning series is often thought of as higher end the DirectCU II delivers similar features for a more affordable price and the 7970 variant is no exception. The 7970 DirectCU II is fitted with a massive over-the-top cooler something we’ve come to expect from the series.
Pros: Great overclocking potential six-screen EyeFinity support.
Cons: Physically huge large cooler limits multi-card options.
