Summary: Card runs a bit hot but that's probably from my camped case. 1 GB vram version is a good price break and still is a big enough screen buffer to run a 1080p monitor. Running it on a 500W PSU even though box suggests 550, haven't had any issues even though the 12V rail has a lower than recommended amperage.
Summary: I got this card for a great deal (130) with a mail-in rebate (+ Bioshock Infinite and Tomb Raider for free). It's in my XBMC based HTPC / "Steambox" gaming machine connected to my Pioneer AVR & Samsung 46" TV via HDMI. I think this 7850 is right at the sweet spot for 1080p gaming for <150 (early April 2013). I'm running Bioshock Infinite on Ultra at 1080p with 35-40 fps out of the box and I haven't even tried OC-ing yet.
Summary: With the rebate this is a great value. I picked up a 7950 based card also before the R series made them obsolete. R series usually offers more RAM but with what I think is a significant increase in price. BF4 at 1080p on high on this 7850 is pleasantly playable. This card fills a gap the R series doesn't address, a price/performance point that I tend to buy at.
Summary: We bough this for my sons HP computer to replace the internal motherboard based card versus buying a new gaming PC. Wow what difference and no more complaints of frame pauses during video games. It was easy to install and they had nice rebate plus some free gaming credits on Steam which was an added bonus. Very high quality and we now have a very happy teenager!!
Summary: Excellent product, you get what you pay for. Not a reference pcb. Highly recommended, excellent cooler it keeps mine (over clocked) under 70 degrees. High quality components due to TOP. completely different components and pcb. Well made and an overall great product. Mine gets over 70fps on bf4. Well designed 11" card. The pcb is shorter than the cooler which allows better cooling. I wish it had a backplate though, but this can't be expected at this price point.
Summary: I play some WoW, Minecraft, LoL, SC2 and a variety of steam games. This device arrived in a nicely presented box with a CD for drivers, easy 10 step guide on how to install it (with images), a CrossFire bridge and a DVI-VGA adapter. The device itself has 1 HDMI, 1 DisplayPort and 2 DVI ports (one for VGA connectivity or two for DVI/LCD connectivity). All the connections (including the PCI-Express one) arrive with plastic covers on to protect them.
