Asus 5 stars. Very Quiet. Be careful of those Amazon marketplace items GPUs..ie. They don't come with the game keys advertised.

Summary: Be careful of those marketplace items GPUs. They don't come with the game keys advertised. Amazon needs to be careful for returned items,ie... jack-holes use the keys and return it. I only played bioshock inf. on it. 900p resolution is the highest for that game on this.
Superb performance but poor product quality control
6 January 2014
Summary: This card is a beast and performed beautifully when I benchmarked it, The temperature control is really good, not exceeding 70degree even during full load. However, mine came with a fatal problem, intermittent REV-ing of this card (1k>10k rpm) even the temperature remains cool. The Rev-ing makes a terrible noise and I quit this card after almost a week of fail attempts to rectify it Nothing works at all; tried installing new drivers, different gpu tweak or even...
Summary: We bough this for my sons HP computer to replace the internal motherboard based card versus buying a new gaming PC. Wow what difference and no more complaints of frame pauses during video games. It was easy to install and they had nice rebate plus some free gaming credits on Steam which was an added bonus. Very high quality and we now have a very happy teenager!!
Summary: Thought I was getting a high quality card, but it came in damaged possibly. The card's fan was basically fluctuating every time I started up a game. Re-downloaded the drivers multiple times, but to no avail. No solution so far.
Summary: Card runs a bit hot but that's probably from my camped case. 1 GB vram version is a good price break and still is a big enough screen buffer to run a 1080p monitor. Running it on a 500W PSU even though box suggests 550, haven't had any issues even though the 12V rail has a lower than recommended amperage.
Summary: I got this card for a great deal (130) with a mail-in rebate (+ Bioshock Infinite and Tomb Raider for free). It's in my XBMC based HTPC / "Steambox" gaming machine connected to my Pioneer AVR & Samsung 46" TV via HDMI. I think this 7850 is right at the sweet spot for 1080p gaming for <150 (early April 2013). I'm running Bioshock Infinite on Ultra at 1080p with 35-40 fps out of the box and I haven't even tried OC-ing yet.
Summary: With the rebate this is a great value. I picked up a 7950 based card also before the R series made them obsolete. R series usually offers more RAM but with what I think is a significant increase in price. BF4 at 1080p on high on this 7850 is pleasantly playable. This card fills a gap the R series doesn't address, a price/performance point that I tend to buy at.
