Summary: I bought this GPU with the hope of keeping my computer alive longer, and as a cheaper alternative then buying a new processor and motherboard. Unfortunately when I tried putting it into the slot, and hooked it up to my screen nothing came up. Zip, Nada, NOTHING. I plugged in my old GPU, and it was recognized. Upon suggestion, I uninstalled my old drivers, and attempted to install the ones off the CD...it BOSDed halfway through installation.
Summary: I am not interested in paying premiums for ultra-state-of-the-art computer hardware. Prices of even the best components frequently become decent deals after successors are introduced and touted. This is one (I paid $113). If you are not into pushing your machine to the limit no matter the cost, this is one fine card.

Summary: 2 DOA, I gave up, sent for a refund. Thought I'd give AMD a try again, but as usual, a disappointment. Back to Nvidia, never been let down. I understand getting an occasional bad item, but 2 in a row, not good. Especially after putting a 560TI from another computer in the new one to make sure, it installed flawlessly. Amazon, of course, was excellent with the return process.
Summary: I bought two of these cards for my PC and they have definitely held up well. They do a great job on performance for the price. They might not handle the latest game at the highest settings, but you're probably not looking for this cheap of a card for that anyway. I've been running bitcoin mining (essentially running at 100%) constantly for months with no crashes or other issues.
