Failed After One Year And ASUS Warranty Support Is Terrible
30 November 2014
Summary: Bought this card just under a year ago and now the fan on the card is failing. I called ASUS to make a warranty claim, but after waiting on hold for almost twenty minutes I expect that little will come of my warranty issue. This card has seen pretty light use and has not been overclocked. I won't be purchasing another ASUS product to replace this one.
Summary: I was surprised by the poor performance of this adapter. The last few graphics cards I bought have been trouble free - rock steady display with the decent resolution. Not in this case - I'll avoid ASUS next time.
Summary: This graphics card was put into an older Dell Optiplex 755. The heatsink was larger than I expected, but I was able to get it to fit in the case. With this card, I am able to play EVE Online, GTA IV, Star Wars The Old Republic, and Star Trek Online at maximum settings at a resolution of 1600x1200. Since this card gets all of its power from the PCIe slot, my 300 watt power supply is able to run everything fine.
Summary: I bought this card as an upgrade so I could play some video games. I haven't been a gamer because I don't like spending so much non productive time but my step son encouraged me to try some of the newer games. They looked fun so I bought a couple and I knew going in I was going to need to upgrade my video card so I ordered this one based on size, function and reviews.
Summary: I can't say enough good things about how this card performs for the price that it is. I installed this along with a few other modest upgrades to my dad's aging computer, and he was able to run some pretty modern games on medium settings. It was very easy to install and I like that it does not require any extra power.
Summary: I got this card to upgrade my HP Pavilion Elite e9222y replacing the ATI Radeon 4350 card. I like to do some light gaming and the current card had me running 2yr old games at mid level settings and almost no hope of running some of the latest graphics intense games. My computer has a 300W power supply so I went with this card as it seemed like the best upgrade that did not require more power like many other video cards.
