Loved it until it started failing 4 months into owning it.

Summary: Asus made a gorgeous looking card in this gtx 670 direct cu II TOP edition. My card worked beautifully for the first 3 months and then it started giving me random black screens. Sometimes it would recover and the display would return and other times it would just completely lose signal until I restarted my PC. I get random artifacts from time to time and I have no way of telling when it's going to happen.
Summary: While I did not purchase through Amazon, I want to share my experience with the product here to inform those interested in the card about its potential issues. There's no question that the Asus GTX 670 DC2 models are among the best looking available, and the cooling solution is second to none.
Summary: Update: it died after a few months of use, really disappointed. very happy, I was one of the lucky people as mine worked right out of the box without any problem with the advertised clocks, I didn't install the asus software though, only the latest Nvidia drivers, it's soo fast and cool while gaming, and the most important thing to me is that it's doing it silently, 5 stars from me PS: I bought it a while back "June 1 to be exact" I didn't had the chance to try it until...
Summary: Got this a week ago because I heard it was supposed to be the go to GTX 670! It worked for about 30 minutes, after 30 minutes the card kept crashing. Downloaded different drivers and all that stuff, now my computer disables it off the bat! Reports of this problem are widespread, do yourself a favor and wait till they fix it! Thank goodness for Amazons return policy!
Summary: Don't buy this card unless you plan on downclocking the card. Asus set the clock too high on this card and it WILL crash if you loop Heaven or game for hours on a graphics intensive game. I've owned 2 of these cards. One was dead on arrival and the other I just returned to Newegg because I kept crashing at STOCK SETTINGS in Heaven. Asus did not test these cards, I can't believe they released this faulty product.
Summary: First one I received was broke and did not work, and the second one is much better but fails to run League of Legends (a free to play game with minimum requirements) constantly drops FPS, hate it.
Summary: I had this as a present from my wife. The build quality is excellent, no plastic bits, and the card came with a backplate. However, at stock speed, there are random flickering stars of different colours while playing BF3. They also appear while running Unigen Heaven benchmark. It's on its way back to amazon as I type.
