Summary: This was just on sale for 199$ and came with 2 games on Newegg. I know cause thats where i got mine. Oh i also go the DC2OG version which is clocked at 980 not 915. so it's even better than this.
Summary: Bought two of these, then I started getting these strange texture artifacts (green halos, texture jittering and tearings), after many tries I finally managed to localize the problem to one of the cards. I tested it with memtestG80 using only 1200mb of video memory and it showed me about a couple of thousand errors, while normally working card showed none. I managed to navigate through asus support site to initiate RMA and sent the card.
Summary: Hi, First off I would like to say that I do not often write reviews but I thought I would write one to warn everyone. I received the card about 60 days ago and install it right away. No issues with that the card worked fine up until last 3 nights ago. I had purchased the card in preparation for an expansion of a game I was going to play.
Summary: First my specs: I5 2500K o/c to 4.0ghz(cooled with a Hyper 212 Evo 2fan push-pull config) 8GB G. Skill RAM 1333mhz ASUS 5770 1GB gDDR5(I'm stuck with this since my new card blew up :/ ) Seasonic 620w psu MOBO: P8Z68-V LX The card worked perfect like i said, it would MAX all games i play: SC2, TF2, GTA 4, BF3, SSFV AE, AOE 3, LOL, SIMS 3. I would get 60+ fps on all games completely maxed out even BF3 on 64player servers.
Summary: After much waiting, the unit delivered is defective. Upon power up, all seems normal & I was impressed by how quiet it was. Just as I was about to close my casing, I noticed neither cooling fans were operational. From GPU tweak, their indicated speed on auto were reported to be 10% but they sure aren't moving. Manual overide it to 100% still noting happened. No wonder it was "DEAD SILENT!!!
Summary: I was super excited to get my hands on this ASUS 670 GTX DC-II (especially after the strong feedback from tech websites/reviewers). However, Amazon insisted on ruining my purchase by sending me a used item as a new one. Way to screw up Amazon. The moment I opened up the box I felt something was wrong, there were smudges everywhere, the CD casing of the utility disc was dirty and harshly wrinkled (same thing applies to the manual), and it was not so much of a reveal to...
Summary: After installing the latest drivers, my screen would crash to black every 4-5 seconds. I uninstalled the drivers from the nvidia website, tried the drivers included on the Asus cd to no avail. Tried older drivers, different ports, different monitors... Nothing would fix it. I was really excited to upgrade from my 8600GT but no luck.. Stay away.
Summary: Useless card. It would only work if I didn't install the drivers. Of course, without the drivers I could not use the GPU to accelerate my video processing with Adobe Premiere Pro CS6. Lot os people complaining about same issue. Tried every combination of drivers and software installs I could find on web, but none of them worked. Stay away from this Asus 670 card until they resolve the red screen issue.
