Summary: So far, so good! I purchased this product because of its HDMI output and 2GB memory capacity to use with my HP w2207h monitor and HDTV screens. Using the HDMI output simplifies my wiring connections and provides a better image than my old VGA card. It, in combination with my power supply upgrade corrected an issue with PC resets that occured when I open multiple graphics intensive windows and tabs.
Summary: But if you get a board that works, it usually works for a while...ASUS is into volume so if you buy an ASUS product, you need to do that with the proper expectations; rely on the user community for support. Its all about the chipset..ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte etc just glue the chipsets together. Just get a good return policy because the high failure rate matches the high performance.
Summary: I really want to like Asus but it seems like nearly every component I've had from them has died in relatively short order. This one had acceptable performance for games for the price range but then I was hit with loads of artifacting in the middle of a TF2 match. I had to kill the computer and then it failed to boot back up. There was also a lot of distortion even on the BIOS screen. After reverting to my old ATI HD5770 everything started up as normal.
Summary: I purchased this care as an entry level NVIDIA VGA card, and I was not disappointed. This card was easy to install, it only took 30 minutes for everything. Pros: Easy install, incredible performance for the price. Cons:A rather bulky card. See my thoughts for more info. Thoughts:I had to uninstall my wireless adapter on my motherboard because of the cards enormous fan. I solved this but I should be noted that this card is rather large.
Summary: I was looking to improve my graphics a little, and this delivered. It gave me even more than I was expecting. I used to have an HIS 1G graphics card so this was a big improvement. I will need a better CPU to maximize its performance, though.
