Rebate = Scam

Summary: The rebate seems like a scam. After 10+ years of dedication to their company, ASUS denied my claim to a rebate, stating that I had failed to include the rebate form. However, I used ASUS's own website to print said form and was very careful to include all other required paperwork and ensure it was...
Pros: -large heat-sink keeps GPU nice and cool -looks sharp
Summary: This Graphics card still runs in my pc 6/26/2015 and it has continued to push graphics on some of the most demanding games today. Obviously as I belive NVIDIA is up to the 900's now, this is quite an old card, but still getting work done, if your not a total graphics snob, this card is most likely...
Summary: It has been nearly two years since we installed this jewel and it hasn't given the first bit of trouble. Graphics are great! World of Warcraft runs at full graphic settings. We often get over 100 frames per second using Windows 7 version 2
Summary: Came with an Asus shirt for limited time only. Still have the shirt and it is just as great.
Pros: Bought this thing 3 years ago and it still handles everything I throw at it. Play modern games at highest settings. Encoding with Cuda only takes minutes. Crunches BOINC and F@H at amazing speeds.
Cons: Gets very hot and the fans can get noisy if the rest of the case isn't properly cooled. Very long. Needs good placement or it runs into bays in the front of the pc. Also can be tricky to plug the PCI-E power in. Windows 7 still throws off NVIDIA driver errors. Had this problem with the previous b...
Cons: This card ran slower out of the box than my 9600gt. I did not even have the 9600gt overclocked and the 550ti is supposed to be lightyears ahead. I google searched the low framerates and choppyness and you get pages and pages of bad experiences. Stay away at all costs
Pros: I'm not the best person to write this review because I never really pushed this card to its limits. I'm not an avid gamer and only bought this board because it gave me a high enough ceiling in case I ever wanted to start playing any MMORPGs. For what it's worth, I've enjoyed having this board ins...
Cons: The only problem I had was during the initial install. For some reason, the drivers wouldn't take and my screen would go blank! I kept having to pull the board, reboot, and then re-install the board EVERY time I would turn the PC off. I finally found the correct driver and the board has been fine...
Pros: personally i like how big the card is and it ran my games pretty well
Cons: it worked for about a good year and a half and now my games are very laggy. My games were slightly laggy but that was because of my unsuitable 2.5 GHz processor but after a year and a half of use there very laggy my card is near its death
