Terrific buy

L. Adkins "Old Geezer", Amazon
14 May 2011
  • Summary: With the new games available now, I needed more video and memory power. After reading reviews on the different cards available to the public, I decided to try this one. It was very reasonably priced and the features advertised is what I wanted. My Dell E520 had a 512MB card and some of the new games would not play. This card advertised 1GB of dedicated memory...I was amazed to say the least...I can play any game (so far anyway) with out a stutter.

Major Disappointment

Southpaw, Amazon
19 February 2011
  • Summary: I bought this card to replace a GeForce 8800 GT. I was hoping for a card with similar 3D performance as the 8800 with the addition of an HDMI port to send high quality video and sound to my big screen TV. The first thing I noticed was that the package had obviously been opened before. The cardboard inside the box was torn apart. I put the card in and loaded the ASUS driver and software that came with it. I then load up World of Warcraft to see how it worked.

Excellent Card

Jimbo, Amazon
23 July 2010
  • Summary: I purchased this card to replace a 3 year old 8800GTS that died prematurely. It installed quickly and Windows Vista did find a driver that was newer than the one that came with the card. The software allows what appears to be extensive control over the cards performance and it monitors/reports card temp. I have "adjusted" any of the controls and just use it as is, right outta the box.
