Elite Bastards
25 October 2007
  • Conclusion: Congratulations really need to be given to ASUS on two fronts here, for breaking a couple of the current 'taboos' of passively cooled video cards.  Firstly, while most manufacturers have stuck pretty solidly to only passively cooling mid-range and low-end boards (for this generation at least), ASUS have stepped forward with an innovative design capable of cooling a high-end part.

Asus EN7800GT TOP Silent Review

25 June 2007
  • Conclusion: In the past few years it seems as if video cards had become stale, but with the pace that Asus' is on things are looking better all the time and their EN7800GT Top Silent is another winner from the company. Passively cooled to perfection, overclocked, and a great game bundle set this video card apart. There's no question that if you want the most powerful silent card on the market today, this is the only card for you.

Expert Review

  • Conclusion: We were very pleased with the performance of the ASUS EN7800 GT TOP SILENT. The card can deal with all the latest games, even at high resolutions with AA and AF enabled, and best of all, it does it silently. The produced framerates for most of the games were not that much lower than the X1900 GT, which currently is a high-end card.
  • Pros: High performance, Silent, King Kong game, DVD Software
  • Cons: High priced, No bundled S-Video, Composite cables, No extra DVI to VGA adaptor
