Summary: I've had this graphics card now for awhile. I thought the 2 GB Memory package would improve performace. However, the memory is slow. Graphics is not what I was expecting at 1280 x 1024. It's just OK, but not great for the price. This item is now hard to find (wonder why?).
Summary: If you are the type of person that just uses the computer for casual gaming then a Radeon card is probably fine for you. The bugs in the drivers just drive me crazy though. Whenever a new game comes out, it may take a month or two before the drivers are updated to the point that I am satisfied with...
Summary: I recently bought this card as an emergency upgrade, previously owned TWO ATI Radeon HD4870 X2 in cross fire, at first I was alittle concerned about the decreased in performance and the size of the card.
Summary: If your looking the best 6970 card out there this is it. Yes, the ASUS 6970 is a reference card with just two slight changes. The 1st is the cover is not cheap plastic it is aluminum. Which ASUS claims will help with the heat dissipation of the card, it does.
Summary: The Good: A truly super powerful GPU for not a crazy amount of money. For me, it runs really cool, although before buying it, I had read it sometimes runs hot. Never once experienced it. Even on the most intensely demanding games I know of, it runs pretty cool.
Summary: This video card is real monster both for good and other reasons that need careful attention. this thing is very powerful it can run any game and has full direct x 11 support. everything about this card is awesome.
