Asus HD 6950 DirectCUii

Travis Piper, Amazon
1 June 2012
  • Summary: I bought this to replace my 5770, however wach out for the performance, it's not much better but it's at least HD3D compatable. I turned up the 3D settings in the Catalyst software and games would constantly freeze. Other than that it's a good card when everything is left at stock settings.

Nice

MunX, Amazon
21 May 2012
  • Summary: Yes, yes, and more yes. This card runs nicely and smoothly. You do need some space in your case as it is mighty big. Enjoy the card and rest easy, you can skip the next generation--unless you want to save power.

AWESOME!

Josh H., Newegg
5 March 2012
  • Summary: I almost bought one of these when I assembled my computer April 2011. I wish I had of, the HIS I bought is nice but the ASUS is AWESOME! I will have to say I am worried about how I am going to fit a three slot card into Crossfire for Eyefinity. I am going to try to use it in slot 2 set as primary.
  • Pros: I got the last one! ASUS EAH6950 has 4 standard display ports available. This means no trouble with mini display port to standard display port adapters when running monitors using display port cables.
  • Cons: I was looking forward to hanging myself with the Startech cable I had on order to adapt the mini display port on my HIS to the display port on my HP lp2475w. Another user suggested this in a pro for the startech cable. "Can be used as a noose when you give up trying to get your display adapter to...
