Excerpt: Asus ATI Radeon HD 6670 1GB DDR5 graphics card is one of the bets card available in this price range. It fares very well than any card in this price point. Installation was smooth and flawless. Works super quiet and runs NFS Rivals very smoothly in 720p resolution. But, the 60fps capped NFS: Rivals works not very smooth in 1080p resolution.
Pros: Easy To Install, Fast, Highly Compatible, Quiet, Reliable
Excerpt: I Wanted a DDR5 Graphics card under 6K. There was ASUS 6670 and Sapphire 6670. ASUS is a bit more expensive than Sapphire card but it has a software interface that allows you to overclock the card. Also the design of card looks great. So, I didn't mind paying a bit extra.
Summary: I built a new AMD rig for my brother back in June 2012. He wanted a desktop pc to use for his work at home. Unlike me, he is not a gamer and did not want to spend between £1K-£2K on a gaming pc!. I paired this gfx card with the A8-3870K APU, Asus A75 pro mobo, 8GB @ 1600MHz Kingston RAM, Asus soundcard, Novatech gold 500W psu a WD 2TB eco-green HDD (and 2 DL DVDRW, W7 home premium and Antec one case). Total cost £480.
Summary: If you're looking for a gaming card with a tight budget, this is definitely the card to get. It is cheap, yet powerful and runs most up-to-date games smoothly, some more demanding ones might not run on Max settings with top framerate, yet still runs smooth on medium-high. HDMI port also comes in handy for watching films on large-screen TV. Great mid-range card, definitely recommended.
