Perfect for my Uses.

Summary: I love this graphics card. It plays the games I want to play (not a gaming card, but it runs Minecraft pretty well). Runs at about 55 degrees Celcius without load, and about 70-80 degrees while playing Modern Warfare 2. I also have a SFF computer case, so this did the trick. I am a YouTuber, so I kind of needed this extra framerate boost without breaking the bank.
Summary: I needed to upgrade my video card in preparation to upgrade from XP to Windows 7. I was setting up the system to dual boot so I needed video drivers for both Win 7 and XP. This card DID NOT have any XP drivers and trying to get them from their web site was a waste of time. I sent an email to tech support and ASUS wants to send you to one of those "Driver Updater" web sites that want to CHARGE you for any drivers.
Summary: The card appears to be working fine and fits into a low profile PC after changing the bracket. One detail about this card is that the DVI output is only DVI-D (dual, digital only, white plastic in the housing) and does not carry the analog (and digital) signals that are carried with the DVI-I format ports (a purple color plastic in the connectors I have).
Summary: I bought it to replace a Saffire ATI Radeon HD 4650 w/ 1 GB DDR2. Although newer, it could not handle what the older version could. While playing Black Ops on my Quad Core PC, faces and flat surfaces were black. It kept asking to update Directx. I did with no luck. I made sure the drivers were the latest. Nothing changed. I returned it and bought another, older Saffire ATI through eBay.
Summary: I was looking for something give me 5.1 to my HTPC,so I bought the Asus Xonar DG,but it couldn't give me real 5.1 via the optical output. Then it hit me...get a graphics card with HDMI sound,so I returned the Asus and bought this. So I upgraded both my sound and video for like $10 more( I got an open box one for $34). But now new ones are $32 after the rebate.
Summary: I bought this one because it had decent reviews and mfgr offered a rebate. The company stiffed me on the rebate. The HDMI card works fine, I don't like the company. I feel they lack integrity.
Summary: I got this card to replace the broken video card in my brother's PC. It had a failed fan and cooked. Ouch. With this ASUS AMD Radeon Silent series the risk of fan failure on the video card is eliminated and the system is even more quiet. For his use this card has more than enough power. He uses his computer for email, web surfing, and working with documents in word or running applications like turbo tax.
