Just what I was looking for

Summary: I was looking for something give me 5.1 to my HTPC,so I bought the Asus Xonar DG,but it couldn't give me real 5.1 via the optical output. Then it hit me...get a graphics card with HDMI sound,so I returned the Asus and bought this. So I upgraded both my sound and video for like $10 more( I got an open box one for $34). But now new ones are $32 after the rebate.
Summary: I bought this one because it had decent reviews and mfgr offered a rebate. The company stiffed me on the rebate. The HDMI card works fine, I don't like the company. I feel they lack integrity.
Summary: The video card itself is fine. The rebate that's offered with this card is what I have an issue with. My rebate was rejected by Asus who claims I never sent any of the documents. I literally took pictures of all my documents prior to mailing, but guess what? It doesn't matter as I never got a notification that it was rejected and by the time I checked on it, it was out of their 30-day window of support.
Works great for passthrough in my ESXI 5.5U1 virtual machine

Summary: Had initially bought an HD6670 as my online search revealed users of ESXI 5.5U1 had success in passing video and audio through. I too experienced the same though I disliked the active cooling. I took a chance and ordered this card and coupled with my motherboard (an ASRock E3C224D4I-14S) have had nothing but success. Had to modify the pciHole and pciPassthru parameters and do some minor adjustments to the scaling. Running the Beta version of AMD Catalyst control panel.
Summary: I have a Compaq Presario SR2038X Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit 3GB PC5300 Ram AMD Althon 64 x2 +3800 CPU.(2.0 GHZ) This card allowed me to play games that I love like Hitman Blood Money, Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hou Star Wars Empire at war and Spore on max settings with no difficulty. I've been stretching the preformance. It plays Crysis 2 and the only thing holding me back is the CPU. Once I max the system out with a AMD 64x2 +5000 (2.6.
Summary: I bought this card as an inexpensive replacement for an Nvidia 8600. I was very pleasantly surprised. This card handles portal and halflife 2 just fine. Not the newest games around, but since I couldn't run them at all before, it's great.
Summary: Unless you are running some of the very latest games, you don't need a $100+ graphics card. I am really happy with this. I am running it in a Linux desktop attached to a 27" Apple Cinema Display. Works like a champ.
