A lot of power for an older card

Summary: I am able to run bf4 on medium settings at 1440x900 with 70-120 fps. No issues out of this little thing what-so-ever. I've recently upgraded to a 7850 though to make my pc more future proof. This will be donated to my little brother, however. It's a beast of a card for what I paid for it ($40). Would definitely think about crossfiring these had I not already upgraded.
Summary: I couldn't have gotten a better deal, the price was right, the card is new and it's to be used in my first ever crossfire set-up, I probably could have bought a newer more powerful card for a few more dollars but I had one already and I wanted to give the crossfire a try.
Summary: The 5770 was a compromise between my wife and myself for her system. She wanted affordable, and I wanted something that would last her. A year later, she's still enjoying every game she plays with decent details, and the extra money we spent over something that would have not performed as well has been completely forgotten. I'd become sold on the 5000 series after buying my 5870, and have not been disappointed by the 5770.
Summary: I am not a gamer and did not try this with games. I upgraded my monitor and wanted a better video card to use the full potential of the new Sony Bravia HD monitor. It was disappointing that the resolution is not much different than the older Sharp standard quality monitor. The TV monitor works way better when I use it for Netflix movie directly through the router(using the Netflix app on the TV and HDMI cable), but much lower resolution if I see the same movie online...
Summary: Custom cooler appears to be insufficient at cooling the gpu under load while gaming. I at first thought the problem was caused by a single game by every game I tried (SC2, GTA4, Wolfenstein, etc) all lead to hard freezes when the card was push too much. Tried different drivers and tweaks from suggestion on the web to no avail.
Summary: This card doesnt reach 60 degrees which is cool and for people who doesnt do research..... Just don't install the Asus drivers and their overclocking software: SmartDoctor and the other ones and you'll get a very stable and fast Graphics processing unit. And by the way, Do these steps below. I hope this helps to other people who want to try the pleasure of having a great card like this. Voila!
Summary: I have this card packaged with a Phenom II x2 560 BE, and 2 gigs of ddr2 and am able to play Modern Warfare smoothly with full settings and GTA4 close to maxed out. Card was easy to install, and so far the only drawback I have found is it takes up two slots, but I already knew this when I bought it.
