Pros: It worked, more or less for 3 years: it was quirky from the start but tested okay; lots of software options included; purchased for work more than play so I saved a few bucks; and, I went back with ASUS for the replacement.
Cons: After 3 years it is failing. Yes I know the warranty expired. :-( Quirky performance from day one. ASUS customer support is a great example of how to not treat customers. MOB is ASUS too and it works great
Summary: I used this card with Ubuntu and there were also no available drivers, so there isn't much to do their either. This card runs perfectly with XP and other OS's.
Pros: This card is amazing. It's got everything you need for video processing power and will handle any task with ease while staying nice and cool.
Cons: The only thing I despise about this card that makes me wish I never bought it are it's drivers. It's the most painful computing experience you will ever go through if you have Windows 7 x64. It was working well for about a month with all it's updated drivers, but Windows decided to mess them up. ...
Pros: Decent price for a 1gig video card and fast shipping. Will test it tonight and hope for the best. Using the Village Instruments - ViDock 3 to do the job for external graphics. SYSTEM Dell Studio 1737 4GB RAM 1TB HDD Intel GMA 4500MHD
Cons: None so far other that the UPS package arriving bent but thanks for foam board.
Summary: Should you buy this card? Yes. It has very solid specs and performance at just the right price. I got mine at $99. Very pleased.
Pros: Some of the things I like best about this card is it does not require one to upgrade their power supply. The installation was, as expected, simple and straight forward. Drivers and Manual included in accompanying CDs. Very pleased with the value / price / performance of this card.
Cons: Not a con, per se, may be an issue with my motherboard, but this card needed the space of the next PCI slot over from the PCIe slot I installed it to. Had to move some hardware to accommodate, even thought the card is small.
Summary: The 5750 price/performance is MUCH BETTER. If you have the 12v connector and the wattage required, spend the money on a 5750. You will not be dissatisfied.
Pros: No 12v power connector required. Plays all of the newest games EXTREMELY WELL with a little tweaking. Will run on a good 350W to a cheap 400-450W PSU. Over clock is stable @ 850MHz core, 4200MHz RAM (give or take, usually a few points can be added). 6.9 Windows 7 score.
Cons: If you have the power, the 5750 is a better choice.
Summary: If you get this card with a mail in rebate dont get the fast process 4-5 days for a small fee. not worth it, i paid and it took more then 2 months to receive after i contacted citi bank. Also for my pc takes about 10 sec to boot up with this video card.
Pros: Installation of this card was very easy and the graphics blow me away. amazing graphics and plays HD video very well. I upgraded from a 4350. Gives you a windows score of 7.0 graphics and the same for gaming. For the price it is well worth it.
Cons: I was very disappointed with this card. after 3 months of use this card it is very slowly giving up on me. giving me dead pixels and not waking up after going to sleep. contacted AMD tech support and they gave me all these instructions and got the same problem. after sleep mode i had to hard rest...
