  • Summary: I bought 2 of these for my bitcoin mining rig a while back and after that I put them in my desktop for Gaming and Design and they work flawlessly. I understand why some people would say there loud because well they are loud, but no louder than any other high performance graphics card.

Awesome card

  • Summary: Great card so far. Went from an HD5870 to this HD6990 and it was a big improvement. I'm not sure what everyone is talking about who complains about this card being "loud" or "noisy", I honestly find it to be no louder than any other card I've used (which is to say, it's not loud at all).

This is a BEST graphics card!

  • Summary: The monstrous card from AMD comes at a high price, but the unprecedented gaming performance is exceptional and is well worth the price. It comes with two high-end graphic cores(codenamed Antilles) which are tweaked versions of the Cayman XT core(seen in 6970 HD). The card comes default with a 830MHz Engine Clock which can be overclocked to 880MHz by flipping a switch, in the process increasing the power consumption from 375W to a whopping 450W.

Connectivity for 5x1 Portrait @ 5400x1200 (10 megapixels) straight outta the box.

  • Summary: Running this beastly beauty in a quad-CrossfireX rig with Gigabyte's P67A-UD7. Setting up 5 inexpensive NEC ea231wmi IPS monitors with both native portrait-mode & displayport capability left me but a few color calibration, bezel adjustment & Eyefinity-group creation steps before enjoying breathtaking 11.1 megapixel resolution. Eyefinity has been streamlined in both software and connectivity via AMD's latest cards.
