Features

The Wacom Intuos 4 features a tablet computer which has four different wide-format sizes; S, M, L and XL that fits working style and workflow needs. It offers the Wacom Tip Sensor functions with a single gram of pen pressure which the tablet PC captures and provides the creative power to adjust exposure, brush size, line weight and opacity. In addition to this, the tip sensor is recommended to use with the grip pen. The 2048 levels of pen pressure sensitivity also allow for dynamic adjustments to exposure, brush size, line weight, opacity and other functions. The Intuos4 Express Keys set up offers to activate the user’s time-saving shortcuts and modifiers in each of the applications. The Express Key comes with illuminated display which is said to provide a constant reminder to the key’s application specific function. The Wacom Intuos 4 features touch ring which allows control of up to four different functions in each application for on the fly adjustments such as zooming, scrolling, brush size, canvas rotation and other applications. It features ambidextrous design of the tablet PC which is said to maximize productivity by placing all of the Express Keys and the Touch Ring on the same side of the tablet. This tablet PC offers to rotate 180 degrees and change a single control panel setting. It also offers to adjust the tablet PC from a right-handed to a left-handed configuration. This tablet PC features a sloping palm rests which provide support for working on all areas of the tablet. Previous questions about this product

  • Is the Wacom Intuos4 capable of performing this task?

In order to streamline the medical office where I work, I would like to find a tablet computer which would be able to contain health form questionaires and which the MDs could then fill out with the "pen" and thereafter have the forms up=loaded into our system. This would eliminate the need for someone else to take the MDs' handwritten notes and type them into the system. Can the Wacom Intuos4 successfully perform this task? Thank you for your time in responding.

I am an illustrator who never has used an art tablet before. My work is detailed, but I have a small work space. Which size intuos4 do you recommend?
