Great Purchase

Kody Mceachin "silent knight", Amazon
7 March 2014
  • Summary: Tablets are quite pricey but the beauty of the Intuos2 is its vast functionality and even with its age (think OS9) it still works VERY well with 10.6 Not only that, with this model the mouse & pen dont need batteries. This tablet is PERFECT!

Buttons are a bit weird... but better than bamboo.

Strange Shank, Amazon
7 April 2013
  • Summary: I upgraded to this from a bamboo and I'm very happy with it, the buttons are just a bit weird... hard to hit on the right spot, easy to accidentally hit. that sort of thing. and they are prelabled. bluh.

Lasts forever

J. Na "dork", Amazon
10 July 2012
  • Summary: I bought the smallest size (4x5)so its a bit different but... I bought this when I was in 8th grade. I didn't have that much money at the same time but wanted to get intuos (rather than graphire) because of the pressure levels and oh boy, am I glad. I've graduated from college and now am working as a designer. I bought this about 12 years ago and it's literally been around the world and have been banged around alot.

BEST INPUT DEVICE FOR EVERYTHING ON YOUR MAC

A. C. Bie, Amazon
2 March 2007
  • Summary: I have used Macs and Apple products for a while now and if you appreciate its superior ease of use and intuitive user experience then you will also come to appreciate the same about the Wacom product line. Perfect and indispensible for all art applications, and practical for all others, the Wacom tablet and cordless stylus is both comfortable and liberating. There will be a period of adjustment but, after this: Look Out! Using your Wacom will feel like second nature.

Artist must-have tool

Amazon Customer, Amazon
18 December 2006
  • Summary: Wacom rocks when it comes to any kind of tablet, but this is far better than the Graphire we used to use. It does cost a lot, but it is by far the best tablet on the market that you can get. We previously had the Graphire 4x5 and this was a nice replacement. We are happy with the size. It is more realistic as far as scale compared to your monitor output.

Perfect size, mouse a super bonus!

Kaleidocherry, Amazon
23 July 2006
  • Summary: I originally bought the 9x12 and it was fabulous for artwork but didn't fit on my desk and was very awkward to use with the included cordless mouse because the tablet was so big. My DH took it and he bought me the 6x8 which is just perfect all around. (At that time the 6x8 didn't come with a mouse, just the pen, but DH was kind enough to let me keep the mouse.) I love everything about it. Painter Classic crashes a lot in XP but I'm researching other software.

Glad I bought it!

L.D.Black, Amazon
11 May 2006
  • Summary: I finally splurged for this Wacom tablet (6"x8") and am I ever glad I did... and wish I had done it much sooner! This item arrived and within minutes I had it hooked up to my computer (and I'm not very computer literate) and within half hour I was actually drawing pictures with great success as I explored what all it could do. This thing is just amazing in the controls you have and the ease of use. The size is perfect not being too big or too small.

if you really love blue and old software then....

Matthew K. Maloney, Amazon
17 March 2006
  • Summary: this product is for you. No one should be confused...this product is not the most current model from Wacom. The only reason why you would buy this product is if you are in love with the color blue and don't mind the older software. This product is bundled with Photoshop Elements 1.0 and Painter 1.01. Painter 1.01 is not compatible with OSX. In contrast to customer reviews, Photoshop Elements 2.0 has NEVER been bundled with this model.
