Summary: I bought this drawing tablet for my wife and she LOVES it! It does everything it says it does...and more. It was simple to set up, and one of the most important things for her is that it works flawlessly with GIMP. I would highly recommend this drawing tablet!
Summary: for beginners, or those buying this as a gift, it isn't close to all it can be unless you invest the astronomical $$ required for photoshop. being both the former and the latter, i just didn't grasp this fact until the person for whom i bought it bumped into that reality.
Summary: The tablet is alright, main problem is the fact it doesn't like to work when I try to use it with my laptop once or twice per-day, and I'd have to restart the service and a whole ton of junk behind it. When trying to draw, pen tends to lose it's sensitivity touch or it's ability to erase or select, and I use the reset tactic to fix it. It's not that I don't like it, but not enough with all the bugs and issues I didn't expect to run into.
Summary: I have used the wacom tablet for years. I would give it 5 stars except for the fact today I had the pen freeze for the first time. Ironic that this review showed up just after the pen froze. Had to use a mouse. Yuck... The pen is working now. I am keeping my fingers crossed.
Summary: I read tons of reviews of this product before I purchased.. I do have to say, I am very happy that I didn't "listen" to the more negative reviews. This is my reasoning. I previously had the Wacom Bamboo Splash tablet and absolutely loved it.. But, my daughter wanted one, so I decided to upgrade and let her have mine.. With that said.. The response of the touch tablet is amazing.. And I had no problems getting used to using it.
