Summary: I am new to Wacom use but I am definitely loving it so far! I probably could have used a small one but will keep this medium one. I am finding a lot of tutorials on Youtube, the Wacom site as well as Adobe that are helping me learn to get the most out of my tablet. Oh, and CreativeLive and Skill Share also. I am using it to develop screen print images among other things.
Excerpt: I purchased this Wacom tablet to use primarily with Lightroom and Photoshop photo editing. It was easy to set up and get started. I need a little practice but I can already tell this will be a must have tool from now on.
Summary: Great quality, definitely makes graphic design / 3D modeling tasks more comfortable and fluid. Highly recommended if you spend a lot of time doing design-related tasks on a computer, will speed up your work and give considerably more control than a standard mouse.
Summary: i received my Wacom Intuos CTH680 in the mail the other day after coming home work from very excited to experience it. Come to find out this 60 less refurbished ain't so quite refurbished. I experienced bizarre technicalities, my laptop starting glitching, the drawing pen sometimes wouldn't work, the darn thing made to much noise when you worked on the damn thing.
Excerpt: Once you become familiar using the tablet it is so much more efficient in Photoshop applications than using a mouse. There definitely is a learning curve with the tablet but after a few days it becomes second nature. Hint- hide or lock up the mouse so you aren't tempted to give up on the tablet prematurely. There are some excellent Wacom instructional videos on the B&H web site.
Pros: Added Control, Comfortable Grip, Efficient, Glides Smoothly, Time Saver
Summary: I am frustrated with all the things I've had to do before I could even plug in the tablet! Getting it registered was a major feat (it was refurbished) - once I got that done, half the SW bundle they promised would not load or was not operational. Can't find a protective bag that fits it without it being too big or too small. Also - there is no manual. This is one of the things that frustrates me the most with new electronics. No manual...
Summary: i returned the software after a long struggle from market depot. The software bundle that they promised to include with order is not compatible to use with mac computer.there was no warning at all in their add.support at best was very poor. The disc that came with it did not work to install the driver. You have to download. There was no manual to start esp. for beginner like me.
Summary: I absolutely love my tablet, and use it constantly. The savings of buying it refurbished was a great plus! I have had several reoccurring issues, though. The driver occasionally crashes, and by occasionally I mean once or twice every-other month or so. Most of the time unplugging the tablet and plugging it back in fixes it; sometimes I have to restart my computer before it starts working properly again.
