Hiccup in the shipping but straightened out in the end.

Summary: Had a bit of a scare when the shipping info said it had been delivered and it wasn't at its destination. Wrong tracking number had been passed along to Amazon. With the right tracking number all was ok and I did receive it. The box was slightly damaged but since Wacom packages its merchandise so well the tablet was fine. I've been enjoying the Cintiq a lot.
Summary: Can't believe I ever designed and illustrated without this thing. I've used Wacom tablets for over a decade, but this is a workflow dream. Just make absolutely sure you have AMPLE desk space. And a buddy to help you get it in place. It's huge and heavy.
Excerpt: ** Pros for buying the display
The Cintiq 24" HD just puts my graphic applications on steroids! I don't need smart selection tools with this thing. Auto zoom and image rotate built into the monitor makes it like almost like you are working on a piece of paper. When you rotate all you have to do is hit the escape key and the screen snaps back to level.

The display pen works just like a #2 pencil, eraser on one end and pen on the other.
Summary: had a little goof up in shipping which had it arrive a few days late, but it arrived in good condition. never have used a Wacom or pen tablet before now, so going through a bit of a learning curve at the moment. however, i can see where this will speed up some processes during the course of any given project. have not done a full blown design project yet. just been baby stepping through daily tasks like emails, spread sheets, and organization chores.
A huge upgrade to the creative process, IF used with applications that truly support multitouch this early on.

Summary: Some thoughts after using it every day for over a year: + It's a dream to use with Corel Painter 12.2+. You can simultaneously zoom, pan, and rotate with multitouch. It's taken digital painting to a new level. I am faster, more accurate, and it's a lot more fun now. No other app is this good though, except for Artrage on Windows (Mac doesn't support this same multitouch) and Sketchbook Pro (but it's buggy, always fits-to-view while I'm drawing).
Summary: I am a digital illustrator and graphic designer and was born and bred with Wacom graphic tablets. I have them all, from the Graphire (remember those?), to the Bamboo, upgraded to the Intuos and in the past 10 year have dived into the world of the on-screen Cintiqs. It is true that the Cintiqs will be the end-all, you will never use anything else for digital painting. But there are different models and sizes and all of them are expensive.
Summary: This was a gift for my son, he is in heaven. Might I add more? It's a fantastic tool, he finds it amazing! I can't give you any technical details, since I haven't used it myself yet! The table/rack is very sturdy, the size of the screen is way bi...
