Summary: OMG OMG OMG- these things are way impressive even coming out of the massive box- and even more impressive when in use - Ive never seen anything so expensive be SOOOO worth the money! for inking art there is no substitute, believe it or not its BETTER than the art table because of the fluid edibility of the inked art after its drawn in vs the rigidity of art inked on the drawing table and Ive been inking on the art table for 20 years.
Summary: i could not afford this in a million years...due to the fact that i'm but a 16 years old kid. After some drug trafficking, selling useless organs and blood, robbing multiple mini-marts, i was able to buy the pen..
Summary: Almost the greatest thing since sliced bread. This is a stellar product. I have been using Wacom tablets professionally for years and only recently decided to make the jump to a large format Cintiq. First of all, it's beautifully designed; the slightly textured screen feels like I'm drawing on paper, the maneuverable screen is easy to manipulate, and it's wonderful to work on such a large format.
Summary: I'm a graphic artist and I've had a Cintiq 12WX for about 4 years. That machine was great, but this one is SO much better. The screen is gigantic, it's much brighter than the 12WX and they've also corrected the edge jitter issue from the 12WX. My 24HD arrived well packaged and without any dead pixels. Shipping time was a bit slow (10 days). This thing is GREAT to work on. The addition of the touch rings means I can easily zoom and rotate my canvas in photoshop.
Summary: Can't believe I ever designed and illustrated without this thing. I've used Wacom tablets for over a decade, but this is a workflow dream. Just make absolutely sure you have AMPLE desk space. And a buddy to help you get it in place. It's huge and heavy.
