Very unhappy with such a fuss and price over something that is inferior to the Intuos 4 I had before.

Summary: I was very unhappy with this product. First of all, I have been using Intuos forever. I started with 3 and then had 4 extra large. They were both awesome. I wanted something I can draw and paint on like as if really on the screen. Let me start with cons since that is what I have the most experience with: CONS: 1) The thing is huge and heavy! 38 lbs! Don't for a moment thing you will be drawing comfortably.
Summary: I am very disappointed with this company. They do not send a cable that works with an Apple computer so I could not hook it up. When I called Wacom and asked if they carried the cable, they said "NO!" as they claim that the folks who use their products don't use Apple computers. (Funny as most photographers and artists I know do use Apple.) They referred me to another company and told me what to order.
Overpriced, dead pixel which Wacom doesn't swap out

Summary: . Definitely check out the Yiynova MSP19U which costs $569. It's a possible Wacom Cintiq alternative. I don't own the Yiynova, but would def have considered this other option if I knew about it. Without a slight diffuse coating, the Yiynova is supposedly brighter. Also it has LEDs opposed to the Cintiq's fluorescent tube. Wacom is overcharging. Also, with a dead pixel, they wouldn't swap out my monitor. Pretty annoying after spending $2k +.
