Summary: I hardly used my Wacom since I bought it, took care of everything and treat it very carefully. When I ended up really needing it, the Cintiq stopped working. It would react randomly and sometimes would erase with the tip, draw with the eraser or not work at all... no sensitivity or anything. I bought another pen as suggested in the forums, however, it was still under warranty and I contacted their customer service. I read on the forums that they do not respond ever...
Summary: They're using the image of the grip pen but they only send out classic pens. This has affected many orders. Go through the reviews and you'll see. Bottom line, if you order this you will NOT GET A GRIP PEN.
Summary: The product shipped was the standard pen not the grip pen because of a stocking error. Was returned with no problem except the paperwork was confusing including no return address on the RMA label.
Summary: I bought this thinking that I would get what was put in the pictures, which apparently is a grip pen, not classic. Therefore I have received something I didn't know was called a "classic pen". Product works fine, but disappointed at how the wrong pictures are put up.
Summary: I ordered the intous3 pen as pictured and i recieved the Classic pen, which is a cheaper and less comfortable pen then the one I wanted. I have tried to reutrn but got no response from the seller.
Summary: EDIT IMPORTANT UPDATE 4 years later I lowered the rating as the converter box fried itself less than 4 years later. This is unacceptable, a huge design flaw and I have contacted wacom. Verdict: Definitely try it before you buy it as it is a love it hate it type of product. However, my recommendation is *not* to buy it at $900 and wait for it to drop further in price to the mid-high $700s for new.
Summary: I've had my 12WX for a month. I had also worked with 21UX for much longer period. What I really like about 12WX: Light (can put it on your lap) Better than any intuous3 tablet( for those who need to see the screen and the pen at the same time as they draw) Does everything the 21UX does (for 1/3 of the price), but not as accurate What I don't like about 12WX: Screen not as bright or colourful as a typical monitor.
Summary: Display: - terrible washed-out colours - unevenly lighted screen behind a glass like protective surface Sensitivity: - about an inch from the edges the sensitivity starts to be a problem and lines start shaking - nine inch area offers decent responsiveness by 2008 standards Ease of use: - glass sticks to hands, the stylus encounters very little resistance, doesn't feel like paper at all, more like drawing on glass - normal use creates scratches in the protective surface,...
