"The Pen is mighter than the mouse"

Viv, Adorama
4 June 2013
  • Excerpt: I have been using the Wacom pressure grip pen for 9 years solid almost Everyday and it NEVER gave me any problems, it just finally worn out. I am impressed after the use I put it though. This pen saved my arm from carpel tunnel. I am a wedding photographer and go through 2000 images plus editing, my fingers and lower arm was really hurting using the mouse, so I was going to a Chiropractor and he was giving me some ultrasonic wave treatment $$$$.

DO NOT BUY

Koalaphoenix, Amazon
21 March 2013
  • Summary: I bought it, and it works great (after the 30 driver fixes I did). BUT DO NOT BUY IT. IT IS NOW OUTDATED. The 13hd is coming out and is better in every imaginable way. Wait for it; I wish I had.

Cintiq 12wx

Asem, Amazon
6 March 2013
  • Summary: It's perfect for its use as a digital art tablet. It's not huge so as to occupy much space. It IS really like drawing on paper; and that's what I wanted... very comfortable. the too many cables is the one and only problem so far.

Great tool for beginners

Crystal Johnson, Amazon
3 March 2013
  • Summary: Update: 03/20/2013...okay, now I do still have this product and I still love. I bought this when it first came out (2007) and payed a little under a thousand to get it. The fact that it has been over six years and the price has dropped so little is bothersome. There are newer models, now with a full touch screen and better resolution.

This tablet works out of the box with linux. No drivers needed!

Dactler, Amazon
23 February 2013
  • Summary: I was skeptical on how well this unit was going to work with Linux (Ubuntu 11.x-12.x), but I purchased it for my daughter for Christmas anyways. Her computer has a Twin-Frozer III Nvidia graphics card and all we did was connect the unit as per instructions from the box, turn it on, and set the graphics card to dual monitor mode. I calibrated the pen to the screen via a terminal command as suggested for Wacom tablets and its has worked flawlessly ever since.
