Summary: I've had mine for 3 years and seen a vast improvement with the calibration software. The Unit itself is durable but there is a lot of cables to take care of. I'm able to pack the entire ensemble with my Samsung Series 3 laptop in a laptop carry-bag (I use an Init). I feel the Cintiq is better than a Computer-Tablet or Tablet because the Cintiq connects to any computer you have just like an additional monitor.
Pros: Better than Wacom Pen/Tablet, drawing directly on screen!
Pros: Works like it should. The pressure sensing feature is nice, the grip is comfortable. Comes with replacement tips.
Cons: The switch is a little inconveniently located and sensitive. I'll be working on the tablet and compress the switch accidentally just maneuvering the pen. It would be better if it were a little stiffer.
Nice quality, does what it does well, although not as portable as I thought

Summary: Works well, although the screen is a little small. But it is portable. Not quite as comfy as my 21 inch at the office, but it serves the purpose. The only issue I have with the Cintiq is the mass of cables necessary to hook it up. That reduces the portability somewhat. Would be nice if the thunderbolt port could incorporate input control along with the video on the one cable. Overall, I would recommend the Cintiq, although the cabling does limit the portability somewhat.
