Thinner, harder material than Art pen

  • Excerpt: I had the art pen and ordered both this classic and another art pen. The art pen is a little wider/fatter and with a rubber cushion. Classic is thinner and harder material. I prefer the art for it's width and softness.
  • Pros: Compact Design, Easy To Set Up, Lightweight
  • Cons: Difficult To Use, Unattractive Design

More natural than the stock pen

  • Excerpt: If you like me who started writing with slim pens from the childhood and lost writing skills because of the computers and want to bring back old memory of writing and drawing, this is the pen to consider. The stock pen works exactly like this one. Because of the bulky feel of the stock pen, it feels unnatural feeling. I would highly recommend someone wants to bring back their memory of drawing with slim pen.
  • Pros: Attractive Styling, Compact Design, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Improves Performance, Lightweight, Protective

Wacom Art Pen w/ Stand and Nibs

MC, B&H Photo
24 April 2014
  • Excerpt: My original Wacom grip pen broke, so I figured why not upgrade. However, I found this Art Pen disappointing. I use my Wacom to illustrate comic art and was completely content with the grip pen. The shape, weight and pressure sensitivity was excellent. The Art pen has rotate capability and the Grip does not, but its rotate technology only works with a couple of software packages and even then only with certain brushes.
  • Pros: Easy to Use
  • Cons: Bulky

Best with Adobe Products

  • Pros: ALL software parameters, including barrel rotation are possible with this pen. Three separate types of nibs are included both hard and soft chisel tips, hard and soft round (bullet) tips.
  • Cons: Does not accept colored ring, so you must use a colored ring on your standard pen, so you don't get them mixed up. If you like to work in a dark environment, then you might get them mixed up. Specifications should state that this pen works with the Inuos5 tablet

  • Excerpt: Stupidity on my part broke the original pen's rocker switch. This was a replacement. I had a bit of difficulty getting the Intuos to recognize the pen but Wacom's customer service was superb.
  • Pros: Easy to Use, Good Control, Increased Productivity, Lightweight, Natural Feel
