Summary: The hardware is nice. I like that the pen does not require a battery like most other brands. The software is not as good, even though they look nice. Even the demo did not work properly, failing to position itself properly on the screen and part of it was cut-off. That would have been fine if, like most programs, it could be dragged to another position but it did not allow that.
Solid okay: no major complaints, but no great acclamations

Summary: Just so you can calibrate your experience: I am not a graphic designer and this is my first tablet input device; I bought this because I had some t-shirt ideas for CafePress and I do a lot of retouching in my photography; my mouse was inconvenient for this work. I've owned the Wacom Capture for just a few months now, but I think I have enough of an impression to write a review.
Summary: I was looking forward to using this tablet for editing photos with CS5 on the Toshiba laptop. I installed the driver software and everything correctly, but I couldn't get it to work correctly. So I called their tech support for assistance. First of all the support was very helpful, and guided me through all the troubleshooting solutions.
Summary: I bought the Bamboo Capture as a mouse replacement for all around use and for professional graphics (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.). The idea of a combined graphics tablet / trackpad seems so obvious that I can't believe there aren't dozens of products to choose from. Unfortunately, there's currently only the Bamboo line. I think the hardware is pretty good. It's fairly solid and no-nonsense.
Summary: I bought this tablet because I am getting severe pain in my hand from alot of video and photo editing. So I bought the Bamboo to take some pressure off of my right pinky and it has helped. It's not that great for video editing ( Sony Vegas ) but I love it when using Light Room. When it works. The problem with the tablet is that it freezes up so much that it makes it almost not worth using. My machine is a Win 7 64, and I am using the most current drivers from their site.
Summary: I have to admit I'm a complete novice when it comes to tablets, so there was a lot to learn here for me. Fortunately, it was fairly easy to install and get started. The idea that one can sketch free hand; produce cartoons and caricatures; write notes on a pad with a pen or finger and have them transformed into a digital, colored, finished product, ready for printing certainly intrigues me.
Summary: Unless you have your computer next to your monitor (because the cord is very short), then you will have to spend extra $$$ to buy the wireless plug-in(which is their marketing strategy to get more $$$ out of your wallet).
Summary: it looks really good, but people can take it the wrong way. i have the smaller version, and am now wishing that i got the larger one. in comparison to the Older version of the bamboo, there is not much difference in the quality, and i really thought it would be bigger than it is, not to say its not big enough, im just sure that the design of the smaller version is to get people to spend £70 plus on it thinking they'd get a decent sized one.
