Summary: I previously used a Wacom Graphire CTE640, but after ten years of abuse it started to fall apart so I bought this to replace it. The feeling of the pen on the surface is wonderful--much more intuitive than the slippery surface of the graphire.
Pros: Its a solid little unit. Well designed. neat texture on the buttons. It works well as a giant touch pad.
Cons: I bought a Intuos4 several years ago that I was super happy with, but the mouse broke and doesn't work well with windows 8. Summary: After many years of use and, down right abuse of my Wacom Graphire 4 pen tablet, I damaged the cord beyond repair. I chose the Capture over cheaper and simpler models, having been drawn to it by the Touch features.
Good enough for light use, but not for the Professional

Summary: The hardware is fair quality build and it's fairly responsive for drawing or inking. It's built is good enough for light use, it is not professional grade. Forget about the build.. the real problem is the driver for the unit..
