Summary: Read this review with the fact in mind that this is a cheap tablet and obviously isn't going to be on-par with more expensive brands. It drives me nuts when someone tells everyone to skip the cheaper ones and go straight for the wacoms, not everyone can afford that or is capable on working on an area the size of a postage stamp. So if you are like me and don't mind sacrificing a little quality for price and convenience, read on.
Summary: This is my first drawing tablet that I owned. I decided on this tablet because of the very large drawing area for the price of it. I have found it to be very good at what it was designed for. Only really issue it that the included Kanvus software park is not really compatible with Windows 7 and the included drivers have no option to make it work correctly with a dual monitor computer setup.
Summary: It's much larger than I expected but I liked that. It's easy to set up and start using. But it will take some getting used to as far as the hover aspect to move the mouse and the touch is the click. The only problem I'm having is that sometimes it seems to "loose connection" so it almost "sleeps" and doesn't respond right away. But that's an occasional thing but can be quite annoying. Great for the price and for an amateur/novel user.
Summary: I know there's a lot of positive reviews on this tablet... but out of all the tablets I have owned, this is by far the worst. I hate to be such a negative reviewer, but I want to warn everyone who is thinking about buying this tablet!! It's a very nice tablet for the first few months of use. But if you're a person like me who draws and paints for hours at a time every single day DON'T GET THIS TABLET!
Summary: I bought one of these Kanvus Artist 127 tablets because I was curious as to how well it preformed. I did my research and looked all over the web for reviews, found very very very little about the actual product, so here's a review from myself to help potential buyers. In my experience this tablet was a great purchase, but the actual functionality and design was lacking.
Summary: Man I am tired of this thing. I've had to re-install the driver 4 times now. Im a bit of a computer tech so I'm not any newbie when it comes to dealing with this stuff. For a while it would just turn off on it's own like someone unplugged it, and now that things have been running smoothly after my last install, while working on a project the thing started jumping across the screen making it's own line in photoshop. I'd hit undo, but it kept getting worse and worse.
Summary: Own a Wacom currently and was looking for a larger tablet. Biggest mistake ever. The cursor will randomly jump across the screen while drawing! Not very useful for anything. When I tired to login to the support website, the Login button was not working. Of note, I did not buy this product at Amazon but at Frys. Spend your money on a Wacom.
Summary: I just bought this tablet yesterday. It is my first tablet and it is wonderful. It seems very sensitive and you get the feeling you are using a real pen to draw with. So far, there is nothing bad to be said about it. It also came bundled with adobe photoshop elements and other programs. Great buy!
Summary: For years I have used a Wacum 6x8 tablet - it finally died. Being a professional artist who lives on the computer and photoshop YET tight on cash, I decided to try Kanvus Artist 127. I held my breath. In every way, it's an excellent replacement for Wacum at half the price. Since my tablet is brand new, I really haven't run it through the wringer yet, yet it seems as accurate and sensitive as my old tablet in it's better days(the specs on the Wacum are better , but you...
