Summary: I bought this GPS back in February of this year. For the most part, it's working fine especially if you're using it at old areas as compare to new development areas. I used it for my trip to Oklahoma and I got lost because the city does not exist in its database. I also used it to go to my friend's house in Woodbury, MN I also got lost; it does not have the area in its database.
Summary: I purchased this in 3/2008 based on CNET reviews before a cross country trip from IL to Seattle. It was a very inexpensive options compared to the rest. THAT should have triggered a red flag right there. For that one purpose it was...OK. It took 10 minutes sometimes to find a satellite. We had to get this going in the morning long before we were ready to go or sit in the car waiting for the route. once warmed up it kept the signals just fine.
Summary: I got this unit when it was on sale on Buy.com for $99. Plus I get $15 cash back for paying with Pay Pal. For that reason, I gave it 5 stars for value. The unit has a nice big screen, and the touch screen is nice. The fact that is has a built in multimedia player is also a nice feature. Now to the bad part(s). The maps are many years out of date. The accuracy of the GPS isn't too good, maybe because the maps are out of date. I live in San Antonio Texas.
Summary: Pros: - 11M POIs - Light weight. Cons: - The battery last merely one hour and not 3.5 hours as stated in the spec. - Voice guidance is stuttering, sometime incomprehensible. - Touch screen is not responsive. I hear the "click" but nothing is happening. I have to hit several times to get it registers my command. - No bluetooth capability. - Old map data and old Igo software with custom GUI.
Summary: I received it on time but no book with it. I had trouble downloading the book and had to contact them. They then let me download the book. I find it hard to program and it appears the battery on it won't work. It will not work unless plugged in. After it is unplugged it loses all information and it has to be reset every time including time zones and all settings. As a result when I stop at a gas station it has to be completely reprogrammed each time.
