Summary: I'm pretty pissed with this gps. I did buy this in 2006, and it was amazing then, but now everything is outdated. Nothing is right, it doesn't even have my house...seriously piece of junk. No updates ever, I'm going to have to hack it to get tomtom or something on it, worthless. DONT BUY!
Summary: I absolutely CANNOT recommend this GPS considering all the name brand options in this price range. I purchased it based on the price and reviews and felt I had done well. I had no need for the extra bells and whistles that others come with, it was a better price. It had a poor interface, but I could suffer with that b/c of the price. It took awhile to acquire a signal, but I could suffer with that b/c of the price. Or so I thought.
Summary: This item is hard to follow the instructions and once you think that you have them corrected, you get an error message saying that your information does not match your search. I also tried the instructions on the web site which are identical to the inclose instructions and still the same results. Tried different methods , still same errors. Not worth all this problems! Thinking of returning the 2 items I requested.
Summary: I bought this as my first GPS and really enjoyed the fact that I could figure out (yes, it is a little complicated to put in your address) how to put in my home address and that it got me home with the voice prompts. But over the month that I have owned this product I have found that it has several SEVERE!!!! limitations. So, to be fair, I will list out a few pros, to the X930 Pros: 1. Size - It is small and light weight which makes it easy to carry around. 2.
Summary: I bought this unit and thankfully found out that it belonged in the trash before the return period had expired. It did not accurately pick up my position anywhere, and also had problems picking up signals. I actually punched in Miami and the unit came back with "address not found" several times. Trash.
Summary: The only good thing about this product is its price (I saw it being sold at $160 on some other site). There are several shortcomings though: - The greatest drawback is the complexity of the menu. There is no 'home location'. Also there are only two navigation options available - shortest time & shortest distance. So if you are caught in a traffic jam for example, there is no 'detour' function. Also, you cannot see the next few turns when you are navigating.
