Summary: The mounting unit, show in the manual, was incorrect and misleading. I worked two hours trying to connect the power cord plugged into the GPS unit. The electric connection between the GPS and power cord does not fit securely and I'm not sure if it will work properly. This was poorly manufactured and I am not pleased!

Summary: I have had the unit for 6 months and I went to update maps and they are $20.00 per quarter or $89.00 a year. Desided to order a new Garmin with FREE lifetime maps. Purchased the 5 inch screen Garmin for $119.00 with FREE LIFETIME MAPS.
Summary: Bought this unit that was new, but discontinued by Tom Tom. It arrived on time and worked properly for a couple of days although I really hadn't had time to figure it out when it decided to display some foreign language instead of English. I spent 3-4 hours on the phone with the folks at Tom Tom and they even took control of my computer trying to fix it! They finally gave up as well and are sending me a replacement.
Summary: We already had the slightly smaller Tom Tom for one car which we were moving back and forth - when we remembered. Now we have one for each car for a total of about $150. We were happy with the first one we got a couple years ago and now are just as happy witih this one. And we have a reliable GPS in both cars now.
Summary: This device came looking as if it were a refurb, no plastic wrap and the tape holding the box closed appeared to be a re-tape job. It looked so suspicious that I opened the box to ensure that everything is in the box. The GPS itself did not have the protective plastic attached to the screen and the rest of the contents looked disheveled in the box which reconfirms my belief that this is a previously purchased (and maybe even used) product that I paid full (new) price...

Summary: The GPS wasn't upgrade, I'm always lost. My motive to buy it was cause relocation in a new and unknown place and it wasn't help me a lot because nobody explained that I had to upgrade later for almost $60 plus.
