Summary: Long story short - felt a bit let down by TomTom with poor advice about an earlier replacement so tried Amazon. XXL IQ is so much more rapid in finding satellites, the screen is extrememly clear and readable but, the only down-side, an older version of Europe map is installed; obviously more geared...
Summary: This is my first sat nav so I have little to compare too. I have generally found it has worked fine and got me from one place to another without drama, however there has been a couple of glitches :- - When updating the maps on the 1st day, the system hung and I had to reset to factory defaults and...
Summary: This SatNav works well but has taken a little getting used to compared to my TOM TOM Go 700 that my Wife now uses. It is strange to have to select a country when travelling abroad but works very well otherwise.
Summary: Used it only once to date, found the larger screen a big plus. the directions precise and timely and repeated usefully. The lane directions are a great help. Arrived at my destination without a hitch.
Summary: Very pleased with this Sat Nav, espcially with the extra facilities via TomTom Home. The screen gives all the information that you need such as your current speed and your current speed limit. But, the SatNav holder (for fixing to windscreen) is very poor. Mine collapsed into pieces on Day 2.
Summary: This is my first sat nav. It took quite some time to choose which make and model. For the most part it performs admirably. It is easy to interact with the touch screen controls. It did not take long to understand how to operate it. The voice direction is clear and precise.
Summary: It's a decent Sat Nav, only used it in the UK but it does the job. The integral mount is excellent, stops it falling off mid journey. Not compatible with traffic receiver despite what some websites may tell you. It isn't really a touch screen as you really need to poke it to get a response.
