Summary: This GPS unit was manufactured in 2009 and it is the Tom Tom XL-335. I talked to a Tom Tom Rep. and was told this information. Too bad it didn't come with lifetime maps. $79+ dollars for a map for 1 year is too expensive. It is ok if you don't mind it has outdated maps. It will still get you where you want to go. For those who must have updated maps, this is no good value to get. You might as well buy a new one with lifetime maps.

Summary: its a great gps but theres one thing that is terrible is the way you have to plug the recharging is very bad disign place to plug some times you wast 2 minuts just to plug that sheat and the maps is not realy correct many times im driving on the road and the gps sand me to a diferet road becouse he dont reconize that new road but the road is there for more the 5 years just one my city is 5 roads that gps no reconized
Summary: The 2d map only orientates north so if you are travelling south, the on screen directions are upside down and will show that you need to turn left when it is actually right (the map is upside down!). For some reason only the 3D map orientates to the direction you are travelling in but on complicated junctions, 3D map is not the easiest to view.
Summary: I bought this item some time ago but within a month the zip on the case broke, I should have returned it but as I was using a suitable alternative forgot about it. I found it very difficult to close the zip which was very stiff due to the shape of the case. Would not buy this item again.

Pros: Very simple to use Clear instructions Easy read screen
Cons: Cannot get speed camera's to show up on map screen
