Summary: Was meant to come with a free subscription to tom tom live. I uploaded the subscription and it has never worked. Maps are very old and can cause delays which can be a nightmare and new maps won't upload. For basic use its ok and maybe I just got a crap refurb but it's not what I was expecting.
Summary: This is my second satnav, aimed at replacing my 5 year old Navigon (Loox N100) which my wife has now appropriated. My expectations were high for a device from the market leader, and knowing how quickly technology advances I was expecting this TomTom to really show up the old device. No such luck. The device is VERY, VERY BUGGY.
Summary: I've always used TomTom for my satnav products - and until recently I was happy with my original TomTom ONE which lasted years. When it finally packed in, I bought myself this piece of kit believing it to be a worthy successor - it wasn't. I have had this model for about 4 or 5 months now, and I regularly upgrade it to the latest software including fixes.
Summary: I bought mine refurbished from the TomTom outlet store - BE WARNED - these refurbished items look like a bargain but they don't have the latest maps and are not included in the latest map guarantee, mine came with early 2010 maps so it cost £32 to bring them up to date, almost as much as buying a new one with the guarantee.
Excellent navigation but serious issues undermine this

Summary: I would strongly advise against buying this model unless you are computer literate and have the time to deal with potential problems. In use it works extremely well but there have been no significant improvements other than the traffic information since their Navigator 5 product - sadly no longer supported with new maps. The issues are as follows: Tomtom Support do not show on their site issues that reflect badly on Tomtom itself.
