Summary: so easy to use (thankfully!). I had previously borrowed my sons older version which i liked alot so decided to buy one for myself. Turns out mine is better as it is newer and has more features, like flagging up petrol stations nearby and showing street names. I would highly recommend this product and love the screen size.
Summary: I've had a Tom Tom since sat nav's first came into being...when you e-bayed a kidney to get one. I've always stayed with this make because, although I have never used another brand, I cannot imagine they could be better. Stupid simple to use, excellent graphics and reliable. This actual Tom Tom is the best model I've had (I've never wanted to get a more sophisticated model as I don't want to link it to my laptop or phone or do anything other than get from A to B...
Summary: This isn't a patch on my old XL model; there have been problems with the GPS fix right from the start and on 2 occasions i have had to find my way out of a strange town using road signs because it wasn't getting a fix. It now doesn't get a GPS fix at all & I discovered from reading the troubleshooting page on the TomTom site that it can take up to 45minutes to get a fix and that it isn't good to try getting a fix whilst on the move.
Summary: its the first sat nav I have brought, and after I have put the settings to my likeness, its made driving easier, you still have to pay attention to the road as there are still the odd road that aint been updated, but nothings perfect, its gave me the confidence to go that bit further out of my comfort zone, as to how far I drive from the roads I know.
Summary: Am really pleased with this tom tom sat nav,it fixes really securely to the windscreen and the in instructions for the journey are really clear and concise, they come at a time when you need them . the great thing for me with this device ,is the ease with with which the destination can be put in through post codes and so.
