The TomTom XL 350 is a GPS device that sports a high sensitivity GPS chipset and a 4.3 inch WQVGA full TFT color LCD touchscreen (480 x 272 pixels, 64,000 colors) on its 4.7" x 3.2" x .09"/7 ounce form factor. Powered by an internal Lithium-Ion battery (up to 3 hours operation), the TomTom XL 350 features 24/7 IQ Routes™ Technology that calculates the fastest route possible using actual average speeds of travel rather than posted speed limits, Advanced Lane Guidance, and comes with TomTom Map Share™ technology that enables users to add to, update and personalize maps. It also lets users share with fellow users’ maps, daily changes automatically via TomTom HOME.

Features

The TomTom XL 350 also features an EasyPort™ mount that folds onto the back of the device, letting users fit the navigation device into a pocket, bag or glove compartment. The unit also features a Help Me! menu that helps them find local emergency service information from hospitals to roadside assistance; TomTom HOME software that updates their TomTom device with new software, download new maps, access free content from the TomTom community and subscribe to services; a large speaker with minimized distortions for loud and clear instructions; route (re-)calculation, Points of Interest from gas stations to hotels (plus downloadable additional POI sets from TomTom HOME), and is an RDS-TMC Traffic Receiver-ready device. The TomTom XL 350 also features QuickGPSfix™ for optimized GPS connection with free updates downloaded through TomTom HOME, IQ Routes™ technology which calculates routes based on the real average speeds measured on roads and provide users with the fastest route, and accurate travel time; speed alerts which warns users when they exceed the limit or a set speed.
