Excerpt: It’s like a big joke in my family that I’m pretty directionally challenged. My brother has been threatening to get me a Tom Tom GPS device for years now and I keep trying to tell them that I just can’t multi-task that way and would most likely either get too distracted with the driving to pay attention to the vocal directions, or get too distracted by the vocal directions to drive properly.
Summary: This is a great product at a great price. We needed to buy a used GPS to fit in our price range. At about fifty dollars, this one has all of the features you need and works great, even if it's not as nice as a brand new version.
Summary: I took a trip to Colorado, since I had a 12 hour drive ahead of me, it was the first time I have ever used a Tom Tom, I always use a map. It did however help me a great deal when you are driving in the dark and pouring down rain. I am blessed my daughter and I had a great trip with our new product.
Summary: I bought the navigation, because I travel a lot and do not always know the shortest or fastest route. From my previous GPS I was very happy, but it was stolen. This model is better than the previous one. It has a large display, more options and accurately show the way. I think it's worth the money. I am very happy with it. For sure I will serve for long.
Summary: it's a good unit but something was wrong with the sim card, i bought it simply care it has canada map, i did not like it because it didn't come with anything, just with the tom tom, it was better then the one i had before though
Cons: The quality control on these products is abysmal! 7 hrs the last time trying to get a 2nd 340 to work. Died while I was on the phone w/tech support. This is the 3rd time this has happened -meaning all 3 times it died while working w/tech support.
Pros: ease of use and adding poi's and favorites are easy.
Cons: poor USB port design, being recessed. resets itself every so often. glitches with updates. poor mount design. touch screen not very accurate or responsive. I had to exchange this 5 times in under 6 months.
Its a good enough value for the money. You get what you pay for.

Summary: I bought this because the power connectors on both of my Garmin's failed from over use. Dislike; the TomTom Language interpretation is poor. Doesn't pronounce street names correctly. Pronounces the number "0" as "west" as in freeway 101 is said " Freeway one west one". I rely on the vocal cues since I am trying to keep my eyes on the road. Also does not give sufficient warning before making turns.
