Summary: Window mount broke fairly soon after I purchased and the unit does not hold a charge for very long. The GPS unit itself is easy to navigate and I did find that it was usually more accurate than my iPhone on getting me to a destination.
Summary: I bought this 8 months ago with the standard TomTom warraty of 6 months, and it stopped working yesterday. I only used this GPS approximately 15 times in those 8 months and I have no idea why it has stopped working.
Summary: Great for my needs. I hate using map websites that aren't always correct. This little TomTom always gets me where I need to be... The only problem is, I wish it would "re-calculate" a little quicker when I don't obey her...but, typical of a woman...JUST KIDDING LADIES...Love you all...lol
Summary: We bought two and in less than a year after buying their MAP Updates they were unusable as they would not update . Having talked to Customer Service , ( What a waste of 6hrs. ) They told me to try and reload again THANK YOU VERY MUCH ! I gave them to a friend to use for parts to fix his .
Tom Tom please post a Best Practice to update these units.

Summary: Since you are monitoring these reviews. I just purchased 2 and don't have a clue how to keep it current after reading all the reviews and problems. I am using Windows 7 on my Desktop. If anyone else can help, please reply or point me the right direction.
Summary: Acquisition of GPS signal is much better in this device than my last. The Live feature of the device cost $60/annually. The one time I used the traffic feature, the detour was just as bad. The ability to do a Google search is nice but not mandatory.
Summary: we use it on occasion. it does a good job. i like the lane guidance feature it is good for large interchanges with multiple lane exits. the google search is cool also but way too expensive to pay for.
