Summary: I gone this for my daughter for her job..she like it but she said it need a little update of the map. It did not have dvd that come with a update so that she could update online. But she really like it.It need a home plug because it did come with it.
Summary: I bought this navigation system 3 months ago because I didn't want to pay close to the same price to update my Garmin maps, but I now realize that was a mistake. The Garmin I bought over two years ago still surpasses the technology of the TomTom.
Summary: After a family member purchased a TomTom 340TM, and with a road trip coming up, I decided to purchase a GPS for myself. I had been reading and researching though well before making my choice so when Amazon had the 335TM as a Lightening Deal, I was more than ready!
Summary: I've had this TomTom for about 3 months now, and, compared my sister's and son's Garmin Nuvi, it shines! They have fixed the map upload problem and you no longer have to remove foreign language voices (although I did so anyway). I loaded on the female computer voice and it is very complete.
Frustrating Out of the Box, If you get past that its good!

Summary: After reading a bunch of reviews I was skeptical but decided to give it a try for the price of $129 with all the features it had. Living in Dallas, a GPS is a must. The traffic update is great it details even how long a delay you will be facing and suggests an alternative route.
Summary: So I decided to purchase this unit despite a slew of negative reviews on Amazon. After using this TomTom for a week now I am sure glad I made the decision to buy it. After owning several other makes of GPS units including Garmin and Magellan, the TomTom is a breath of fresh air for me.
Summary: Purchased this recently after seeing my father-in-law's TomTom 540TM. According to TomTom's web pages and description, this device was supposed to be similar to the 540 besides the screen size, which was ok with me. However, I've found that it isn't quite what is advertised.
Watch out . . . not an honorable company - I would not buy again

Summary: I purchased two 355 TM's directly from Amazon. One was DOA, the flash memory was defective. I was unable to update it with the current software release and maps. When I contracted TomTom they first offered to replace it with a refurbished unit.
