Summary: I connected it to my computer right out of the box, and using their management software ("TomTom Home"), followed the prompts to update the device. Summary: I liked this model right out of the box. charged and ready to go. So easy to setup,compact but easy to see screen,versitle. You can not only use in your vehicle, but take it with you in the woods or on your bike.
