Summary: I connected it to my computer right out of the box, and using their management software ("TomTom Home"), followed the prompts to update the device. After about 3 hours of downloading & installing, the device manager showed an error, and stopped installing. I rebooted it, but it never worked again.

Summary: I checked out a bunch of different GPS systems before deciding on this one. It has all the features I wanted for a pretty low price. There's an interesting gap between cheap low function GPS and pricey high function GPS systems...and this one fits right in the middle.
Summary: I have had this GPS for a year or so now, and it has been a source of constant frustration for me. After owning several different brands of GPS in the past, I can say that this TomTom, (which we affectionately call BitchBitch around our house) is the dumbest GPS on the market today.
Summary: I like that its an inexpensive gps unit with a 4.3 inch screen. Most in this price range are 3.5 inch screens. This combined with TomTom's map correction feature are what made me decide to get it.
