Summary: I purchased this device for a trip to Friday. The functionality was not as intuitive as I would have liked compared to Google's GPS on my phone. Now. after 3 months of use the battery has stopped charging. So of course i am now not able to return it so I will have to eat the $118 I paid for it. I used both my USB and cigarette lighter charge that came with the GPS but no luck.
Summary: I had some issues with the device as soon as it arrived. I installed the MyDrive app and tried to update the maps under the lifetime map updates. This did not go well. The biggest issue is that the device has no meaningful error messages, the only message it displays is "Something went wrong" I had to trawl through the user forum to find out what I should be doing, no user manual is supplied with the device.

Summary: This device may work beautifully. However, I cannot get rid of my old login for old device nor get that log in to work properly for this device. Whenever I start login, the "mydrive" spins forever and never finishes login. I tried total uninstall and wipe out of all previous data and software, followed by reinstall for new device ... DID not work.
Summary: Ever since I bought this product all I had was trouble. Takes forever to pick up a signal and when it finally does pick one up it looses it shortly after. Sick and tired of sitting at work with my wife hysterical on the phone that she is lost because the signal went dead!! One example that we had was on a recent trip from the East coast to LA, when we got to LA and tried using the GPS it was telling us that we was still on the East Coast.
Summary: This was my third Tomtom and unfortunately it will be my last. The first 2 were plug and play, a little clunky but not to bad. This new system of syncing in a browser is a real nightmare. After following all the steps, I couldn't sync for the updates, and the GPS was unable to find any satellites. Many emails, waiting on hold, being walked through the same steps that didn't work with the last tech and I still was NO closer to getting it working.
