Nice to have guidance with directions. Worth the occasional hassle.

Summary: I love that it gives you street names, lane guidance, which side of the road it is on, nearby traffic issues and redirects if needed. It helps to have a general idea of the area. Touchscreen is a little slow and tempermental. She does sometimes get stuck or go a little crazy.
Summary: I bought this unit to replace my wife's Garmin. I have been using a simular TomTom in my auto for the last several years and have had no problems with it. I wanted to get my wife's GPS updated with lifetime map updates and traffic updates. She is very happy with it.
Summary: This is a good GPS navigator, I had a TomTom navigator for 3 years and I needed to replace it with a new one, I fund this with a good price on ebay and bought it, the display is good, the voice control 1s awful( never expect the Siri quality) the worst possible ting id re rout according to traffic...
Make sure all features are available before buying

Summary: I havn't used it yet, because all the features were not available from TomTom for ths unit yet. I keep getting E-Mails from TomYom saying new downloads are available but when I go to download they say not available. They need to have the unit with all the features on it before putting it for sale.
Summary: Didn't know how much a GPS could do until a recent trip I took with my son, who has a Garmin 1350LMT. Had to have one after that. Considered the Garmin Nuvi 1590LMT, but decided on the TomTom 1535TM for the "Voice Recognition and Bluetooth (phone link)" for the price range I wanted to pay.
