Summary: Sorry but this was absolutely woeful. Used it for a trip from Heywood in Gtr Manchester to Chester. Hardly rural outposts. Within 5-minutes it told us to turn left when the only available turn was right and it was clear the system thought we were on a parallel road. It CONSTANTLY left us high & dry, displaying message that there was a loss of GPS signal. This happened several times - even on the M6 for heavens sake!
Summary: Do not buy this Tom Tom - I drive through the city ( London) For work and all I can say is this device loses signal all the time Even in none built up area's and takes forever to find a signal When you start it up and puts you on the wrong road for about 100m even with my house programmed in to it.
Summary: The first unit I ordered didn't work as soon as I took it out of the box. The second unit played up after only two months' use (Amazon will only accept returns up to 28 days) so I was stuck with a completely useless unit. Whilst driving it kept switching to another screen, so you could hear directions but not see where to go. Completely distracting, and in my view, dangerous. I had to constantly reset it, and even then, it only worked temporarily.
Summary: This item arrived on time well packaged from the vendor, but it didn't work and had to be returned. I set up an account with TomTom, plugged in the sat nav to my computer but it would not switch on. I took it to the car and plugged it in but it would not come on, it was dead!

Summary: I bought this one of all of europe. While the maps are not so updated, mostly worked out fine for a couple weeks. after those, started to shut down, thats when I discovered that the connection between the device and the charger is not good at all. I have to change cars a lot of times and I don't like to leave it on the dashboard, so every gps these days needs a good connection that doesn't ware with time. This took me 2 weeks only.
Product is great but the customer service and technology is poor

Summary: The Product itself is great if everything works ok, but the issues are the infrastructure the support of the product if you need help or things go wrong. If you have a problem with the product the customer service is pretty poor and the whole infrastructure of software updates is full of issues i.e. lots of customer have issues updating to the latest releases on the Sat Nav.
